Kristen is so very helpful, knowledgeable, patient, responsive and enjoyable to work with. I was new to Gainesville though I knew the general area I wanted to live in. After serious interest in a couple of houses did not work out, I returned home(out of state) for awhile while continuing to look at listings she sent. When I found “the perfect house” and asked Kristen to go out and take a look (fully trusting at this point that she well knew my likes and dislikes) she went over and beyond. She went out that morning, we had a detailed FaceTime visit of every inch of the house inside and out and when I knew it was the right house she quickly got together comps so that I could make an offer the next day(same time another offer was being made). Offer accepted and I had time to get to Gainesville during the inspection period and see the house up close and personal. I would never have made an offer, even with the inspection period as backup If a problem, if it were not for my total trust and confidence in Kristen. She continued to meet all needs and expectations throughout the remainder of the process; I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I’ve been actively looking for a home in Gainesville since January of 2017, at first with another agent at another brokerage, who was well qualified but things just were not working out. What attracted me to the Thomas Group was their web site, which allowed superior search filters, such as “without” a pool, not just “with” one. Isn’t it odd that so many other sites missed this, since so many buyers want a home without a pool? The Thomas website makes it easy to do a simple search, but also offers fine-tuning for those who want it, such as with HOA, without HOA, horse property, adult community, community fitness room, community playground, community pool, gated community, golf community, tennis community, and many, many more. Reducing the “haystack” made it so much easier to identify legitimate prospects for me. Looking at other reviews here and the activity levels led me to work with Kristen, who turned out to be spectacular in so many ways. After arriving at Gainesville to look at the homes on my initial list from the web site, Kristen zeroed in on the kinds of homes I would like and found the one I bought, just what I wanted. Kristen is easy to get along with and pleasant, like almost all agents. Some people like me prefer an agent who will volunteer defects or plusses in homes as you tour, and Kristen was excellent in that respect, matching my assessment in areas where I was knowledgeable. Also not shy about saying “I don’t know” but will find out. Some buyers prefer to form their own opinions without distractions from an agent, and this was the mode Kristen started out with, but switched over at my request. Just be aware that buyers have different preferences about tour styles and let your agent know what you prefer. When time came to make an offer, Kristen did the best job I’ve seen in adjusting comparables to estimate a fair value for the home. The home inspection uncovered a sticking point, and Kristen thoroughly researched the possible remedies and really made it possible for me to buy the home. Kristen never rushed me or pressured me. This was my seventh home purchase and Kristen was far the most expert and helpful agent I have worked with. Highly, highly recommended.

Kristen always went out of her way to help us with whatever we needed, WHENEVER we needed it. Moving is stressful, but throughout the entire process, she made every stage incredibly easy because of her knowledge and expertise.

We met Kristen through my sister that was looking to sell her house and purchase another. We started looking at homes ourselves. She was very personable and was always willing to show us houses anytime. We decided to wait for a while because we were looking for something very specific that just wasn't in our price range and the area that we wanted to live. Kristen was great! We were pretty naive about buying a home. We had very particular details in mind and it was not easy to find a place that fit our requests. Kristen really tried to get to know us in order to find the perfect home. We searched and searched for several months and she never gave up. When we finally did come across an apartment that we liked, Kristen gave us great advice on negotiations and things to be aware of. She is personable and professional. Kristen was amazing. She helped my wife and I through the process of buying our first home....and we closed in only 30 days! No question was silly to her and we always felt like we were her top priority even though we knew she was juggling several clients at once. The best part about Kristen is that she is completely accessible. If we had a question or concern(no matter the time of day/night) we knew we could text , call or even Facebook message her and she would always reply within a very short amount of time. This is something we greatly appreciated because in our professional lives we deal with so many people that don't respond to emails, texts and voicemails in a timely manner and it is so frustrating....we did not have that problem with Kristen....we did not need to babysit our agent! Another thing we greatly appreciated about Kristen was that she had a true interest in our happiness....not just closing the deal. There were times where we considered backing out of the deal (very glad we didn't!) but her support of our choices never wavered....even if it meant that her time and effort had potentially been wasted. We could easily imagine other less mature agents trying to push the deal even when they know their clients aren't happy about something....but this was not the case with Kristen...she supported us 100%. When my house rental lease had less than two months on it my wife and I needed to make a decision in a hurry. Due to a career opportunity falling through in another city we had to make a decision on whether to rent or buy. We went through 2 realtors before we met Kristen. The first realtor wasn't taking us to any houses that met our requests and the next was a realtor for a large agency, with great reviews, but ended up dropping us because she didn't have time to deal with a couple who's purchase price was so low. Kristen was very down to earth, hard working, and met our needs perfectly. We closed on our home on 8/07/15 and couldn't be happier. She got the seller to approve everything on our request list, including a $850 roof repair! Even up until the morning of the closing she made everything happen when it didn't look like it would. We never felt like a bother and that was a great feeling because we knew how it felt to be told by someone that our dream home wasn't good enough for them to help us look for.
